One way to look at people is by categorizing them into people who listen, and people who don't listen. As a personal preference, I love the former and get disgusted time to time with the latter.
I wouldn't mind speaking with a person who has a completely different opinion than me, even if what they say makes little sense logically, as long as they're willing to listen to others.
On the other hand, I would never feel like having a real conversation with someone who doesn't try to reexamine their beliefs by listening to what others have to say, no matter how correct their opinion seems to be.
Not listening...is probably arrogance. Or fear, of having their beliefs rejected. I don't want to be arrogant. I hope I'm not arrogant.
I'm definitely scared, all the time. So thats why I've been telling myself everyday, "Yo. Then have guts and courage to make up for it. Suck it up. Move forward. What other solution is there?"
I hope that makes up for it.
And one more thing I realized. I tend to listen to how people speak more than what they speak about. I think I usually judge whether I want to speak with someone based on their tone and pitch of their voice.
Its not good to stand in the shower for more than an hour. I felt quite dizzy after.
